  I took part in my first full karate tournament in July, entering kata and kumite. I placed third in both. Then on August 1, I graded to 2nd kyu.

  Just 10 days after recovering from covid, on a stormy day with thunder, lightning and massive downpours, I attended grading to become 5th Kyu / blue belt.
