Located in Karori, Zealandia is a great place to explore whether you’re a local or a visitor to Wellington.
Put on some good walking shoes and explore both short and long walks amongst native NZ trees surrounded by birdsong. You can’t help but be greeted by Tui and followed by North Island Robins.
There are so many different types of birds, plus Tuatara and Weta to name a few. It’s well worth the entry price, and if you’re a local or regular visitor to the region, I highly recommend purchasing a Membership – it’s paid off in 3 visits.
Take your camera as you’ll want to photo and video the different birds and amazing views. There is a suspension bridge, dam, wetlands, and even a boat on the lake. Highly recommend.
